Caterpillars Don’t Have Wings

“Caterpillars Don’t Have Wings” is an in process children’s book written and illustrated by Lydia Lalonde and myself. “Caterpillars Don’t Have Wings” is about a caterpillar that is upset he doesn’t have his wings yet. This book is inspired by our childhood years, specifically our want to do all of the things we saw adults doing. Anytime an adult told us to enjoy being a kid, it just made us want to grow up more. Now that we are adults, we wanted to write a book that meets kids where they are at, in the hopes they don’t try to grow up too fast and can enjoy being a kid.
